Evolved over hundreds of thousands of years, the po’ongabel have come to be the dominant species on the planet of Ponga. Almost. Evolving alongside the po’ongabel is the pongupigma. Very similar in many ways, these two primates have been fighting for planetary dominance for centuries. If not for political infighting, this contest would likely have been over long ago; though, due to their resourcefulness and numbers advantage, the po’ongabel consider their triumph over the pongupigma to be a matter of time.
In the meantime, the major world power in the po’ongabel world has developed an unmatched military-science program designed to win the war against other nations, the pongupigma, male uprisings, and any threat that comes along. Though not all the nations agree with this approach to leadership, there’s no denying their results. They not only have a much more effective way to decimate their rival species, but the Oomfr’crumf Nation has developed numerous technological advancements that include space travel and technological interfacing designed for information exchange with other planets.
